ISTANBUL -NASHIK (Yoga Ashram) - MUMBAI

Our trip started with Mumbai, which is the financial, commercial, and entertainment capital of India. Me and my friend planned to go on a vacation together. I didnt get a full night's sleep during night flight. After arrive to mumbai, someone picked up us at the airport to bring us to yoga ASHRAM in nashik. On the way we have seen many shantytown.
we admitted for personal yoga therapy program in yoga ASHRAM.
Why did I choose yoga?
To be honest, I didn’t start Ashtanga yoga because I wanted to change myself. I wasn’t a sporty type at all, didn’t like running or team sports and had never done Aerobics or gymnastics for more than one season.

When I stepped on the mat for the first time, I had no idea that Ashtanga would change me as a person. As I started practicing regularly, my body became fit and strong, but also little by little, I changed how I saw myself in the world.
After we completed yoga therapy program in yoga ASHRAM in nashik, we came back by taxi from nashik to mumbai central. we booked a single room for four nights with breakfast near airport
Day 1: Explored South Mumbai
we started our day with a visit to the Gateway of India, an iconic monument overlooking the Arabian Sea.
we took a short walk to the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, another architectural gem.
we visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum) to explore its impressive collection of art and artifacts.
After that we walked through the nearby Kala Ghoda neighborhood, known for its art galleries, boutiques, and cafes.
Lastly we headed to Marine Drive in the evening for a leisurely stroll along the promenade, also known as the Queen's Necklace, and enjoyed the sunset.

Day 2: Visited Historical Sites and Markets
we visited the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on Elephanta Island. we took a ferry from the Gateway of India to reach the caves.
we returned to Mumbai and explored the bustling Crawford Market, known for its vibrant atmosphere and a wide variety of goods including fruits, vegetables, spices, and souvenirs.
After lunch, we visited the Chor Bazaar, one of the largest flea markets in Mumbai, where you can find antiques, vintage items, and quirky collectibles.
In the evening, we explored the vibrant street food scene at Mohammad Ali Road, known for its delicious kebabs, biryanis, and sweets.
Day 3: Modern Mumbai
we spended our morning exploring Bandra, a trendy neighborhood known for its street art, hip cafes, and boutiques.
we visited the Dharavi Slum, one of Asia's largest slums, for a guided tour to gain insights into the daily lives of its residents and the thriving small-scale industries within the community.
In the evening, we explored the nightlife in Mumbai. We headed to trendy bars and clubs in areas like Lower Parel or Bandra for a taste of Mumbai's vibrant nightlife scene.
Day 4: Relaxation and Departure
We spended our last day in Mumbai relaxing at one of the city's many places. We went to Juhu Temple Because of The Juhu Temple is not only a place of worship but also a significant cultural and spiritual landmark in Mumbai. Inside the temple, there's bit of shopping (typical Juhu products) and you can find almost all food items.

If you have time, visit the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, located in the northern part of the city, to explore its lush greenery and wildlife.
Depending on your departure time, you can do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs or enjoy a final meal of Mumbai's delicious street food before heading to the airport or train station.
Finally, I would like to say why to travel to india?
India is the country where everything is exacerbated and seems to be more: heat, humidity, noise, chaos, people, smells, color, foods etc. EVERYTHING seems to be more intense than in any other country.
