Strasburg

Strasburg was not a French city that I had prioritised seeing before for some reason... It was a trip that came out as a result of my mother coming to me while I was studying in Heidelberg. Strasburg was located on the border of Switzerland and Germany and was 2 hours away from Heidelberg by train. I can say that it is very easy to reach Strasburg by train from any city in Germany. Since we travelled by slow train, it took us 3-4 hours to see the scenery. It was 20 Euros each... If you are planning to come to Strasburg directly from Istanbul, you should land at Basel-Mulhouse Airport by plane and head towards the exit of France. You need to transfer to St. Louis train station by taking the bus number 11 waiting for you at the exit. From there you can go to Strasburg by train. After giving transport information, we are ready to visit the French city.

You can leave our hotel and take the tram to Petite France, the most architecturally famous part of the city. You can take a pleasant walk among the colourful flowers by the river. The beautiful and well-preserved houses on the roadside provide an ambience that will create the feeling that you are in fairy tale land.
