Day 1

ISTANBUL -KAMNIK- LAKE BLED -LJUBLJANA

Our trip started with Slovenia, which is considered as the green capital of Europe. We first went to Kamnik, a small town in Ljubljana, by tour bus. Kamnik is known for being one of the important trade points of the region in the medieval period, as well as being home to some aristocratic families of Europe and a place where Bavarian counts settled in the medieval period. After completing our tour in the area called "Old Town" with our guide, we had a coffee break. After a 45-minute break, we got on the bus and moved to Lake Bled. It took 45 minutes to reach Lake Bled. Everywhere along the way was lush and clean. On the way, our guide gave some general information about Slovenia. Since it emerged with the dissolution of Yugoslavia in the '90s, more than half of its surface area is covered with forests, he explained that it is a country where respect for nature has reached the ceiling. The national income per capita is very good, and there is no migration from Slovenia to other countries, on the contrary, there is migration from many countries such as Italy to Slovenia.

Bled Lake

When we arrived at Lake Bled, we were welcomed by the breathtaking view and the white church built on a tiny island on the lake. We took a walk around Lake Bled and started to take plenty of photos. After taking a photo from this giant heart-shaped frame that romantics crave for, we sat and had something to eat and drink against the breathtaking view.

After our trip to Lake Bled, our next journey was to Ljubljana city centre. In the city centre, we visited Preseren Square, which was used for trade in the Middle Ages, three bridges over the Ljubljana River and the Dragon Bridge. According to the belief, the dragon represents strength, courage and greatness.

Dragon Bridge

Then we had pizza and pasta with tomato in a very nice restaurant. I recommend it to those who are thinking about what to eat when you go there, it is located just beyond the three bridges. Be informed. We arrived at our hotel around 7 p.m. Our hotel was a bit far from the city but it was nice.

2. Gün LJUBLJANA – HALLSTATT GÖLÜ – SALZBURG

Leaving our Ljubljana hotel with breakfast in the morning, we started to move to Salzburg accompanied by wonderful views of the lush forested roads of Eastern Europe. In the afternoon we went to the famous Hallstatt, one of the most beautiful villages in Austria. It is impossible not to fall in love with this UNESCO-protected village. We walked along the lakeside towards the famous church view that we saw in the photos on the internet to take the most beautiful photos with our guide.

Hallstatt Lake

After we had our photos taken, our guide told us that there was another church on the hill behind the church and next to it was an ossuary that had been in existence since the 12th century. Since the cemetery was small and there was no possibility to expand it, the graves were opened and skulls and bones were taken out after waiting for 10-15 years. After the skulls were cleaned, they were given various figures, their names and the date of death were written on them and placed in this room. The last time a skull was brought to the ossuary was in 1995. We sat on a bench facing the view of the church overlooking the lake and ate the pastries we had brought with us. After buying postcards and magnets in the centre of the town, we set off again. In the meantime, you can watch the magnificent panoramic view of Hallstatt Lake from the observation point (skywalk) 350 metres above the lake with the funicular.

Bone House

After our Hallstatt trip, we came to Salzburg, where Mozart's notes soared. We visited the most important and favourite places of Salzburg. The Mirabell Palace garden with its impressive sculptures, the old town and Residence Square with buildings from the Medieval, Baroque and Renaissance periods, the Makartsteg bridge where the locks are hung on which lovers write their wishes for their love to last forever, the Salzach River that divides the city of Salzburg into two, where you can feel the perfect symphony formed by the sound of birds and the river to your bones by sitting on the benches, Getreidegasse Street, the heart and the most beautiful street of Salzburg, where there are shops of famous brands whose signs are made of wrought iron, the house where Mozart was born, the house where Mozart was born, Kapitelplatz with a statue of a man standing on a huge golden sphere, and Mozartplatz, where the magnificent statue of Mozart is also located, completed our trip and returned to our hotel.

After our breakfast in the morning, we moved towards Munich, one of the most important cities in Europe. We arrived in Munich after a two-hour journey.

Marienplatz - Munich City Hall

Our first stop was Marienplatz, the heart of the city, surrounded by museums, churches, shops and cafes, then the Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus) with its elegant domes and impressive bell tower, the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus), one of the first buildings that comes to mind when it comes to Munich, the symbol of the city, the 14th. century gothic style Isator Gate, the golden tomb of King Ludwig, which is also considered as the symbol of Munich, and the Fraunenkirche (Church of the Virgin Mary) where many treasures are exhibited.
