2 Day Trip to Paris

It is a spontaneous trip that we made as a result of my mother coming to Germany from Turkey. I went to Paris while I was doing the German course and this was my 2nd visit with my mum.

We had arrived in Paris in the morning on the road we set off at night by bus. The motorway between European countries is not very similar to the motorways of Turkey. We sat in the front of the bus in vain, there was only greenery along the way, neither a building nor anything else on the right or left of the motorway. 

After arriving in Paris, we settled in our hotel, had a French breakfast with coffee and chocolate croissant and we were ready to explore the city. They took us to the city centre by bus. Let me tell you a little bit about the places to visit. The places I have listed below are very close to each other and within walking distance. We left the tour bus and travelled by ourselves until the evening.

- The Louvre: Where the painting of Monalisa is located. The security guards here were strange, we were asking questions in English and they were answering in French. Then I realised how nationalistic they were.

- Notre Dame Cathedral

- Eiffel Tower: My advice to those who are thinking of going to the Eiffel Tower is to buy the ticket online. Link You will not have to wait in the entrance queue for hours.

- Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysées

- Le Marais

- Basilica of Sacré-Cœur Sacré-Cœur
